product description
Valve seat and ball for rod pump:
1. It is suitable for oil pump valve sealing, cemented carbide valve seat, etc.
2. Sintering through vacuum integrated furnace or high pressure sintering furnace, high comprehensive performance, no pores, no sand holes.
3. Carbide pellets of various grades can be provided according to customer drawings.
4. It can be roughly ground, polished and finely ground.
5. Produce according to customer drawings and requirements.
6. The surface finish, tolerance grade and dimensional tolerance all meet the machinery industry standards.
Application :Tungsten carbide ball is very wide, such as: precision parts punching and drawing, precision bearing, instrument, instrument, pen making, spraying machine, water pump, mechanical fittings, sealing valve, brake pump, punching hole, oil field. Hydrochloric acid laboratory, hardness measuring instrument, fishing gear, counterweight, decoration, finishing and other high-end industries
Typical Material composition: 6% Cobalt, 94% Tungsten Carbide.
But other compositions are available with Cobalt content up to 25%. Hardness reduces and toughness increases with increasing cobalt content.
Cobalt binder material is reasonably resistant to corrosion. The Cobalt binder will corrode in contact with water, but the effect is largely cosmetic in that the balls loose their polished appearance, with little effect on performance. De-ionised water does pose a more severe problem, as it can tend to promote 'leeching' of Cobalt from the binder. Erosion of the binder can be a problem when in contact with abrasive particles as may occur in some valve and pump applications.
