WT20 Thoriated Tungsten TIG Welding Electrode Description
Thoriated Tungsten Electrode is the most commonly used tungsten electrode in DC welding environment, which often contains 1.70-2.20% rare earth element thorium, so the electrode head is generally red. WT20 Thoriated Tungsten TIG Welding Electrode is mainly made of powder metallurgy technology. Compared with other tungsten electrodes, it has excellent electrical conductivity, good high temperature resistance, strong current carrying ability, high arc starting performance, long service life, resistance to arc erosion, and higher pollution resistance. Low cost of consumption, various advantages, can provide higher quality welding. WT20 Thoriated Tungsten TIG Welding Electrode is usually used for DC welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloy and titanium metal, especially in the aerospace industry, military industry and nuclear industry welding engineering occupies an important position, even in the range of high current can work stably.
