Titanium Alloy Disc Grade 5 / Grade 23
Grade 5 is a titanium alloy grade commonly used in the aerospace industry. It is mainly composed of titanium and a small amount of aluminum, vanadium and other alloying elements. It has excellent strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature stability. Its low density, high melting point and corrosion resistance make it widely used in chemical industry, aviation, marine engineering and other fields, especially under high temperature, heavy load and complex stress conditions.
Grade 23(Ti-6Al-4V-ELI)is an ultra-low gap variant of Ti-6Al-4V because its combination of good biocompatibility, low weight, durability and corrosion resistance makes it an ideal metal for medical devices and implants. During the melting process, interstitial elements such as iron and oxygen are strictly controlled to improve the ductility and fracture toughness of the alloy. Even at temperatures as low as -253 degrees Celsius, it can still maintain good toughness.
Titanium Alloy Disc is often used as a metal sputtering target, high-strength component or medical implant, with high specific strength, excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, excellent biocompatibility, high toughness, high strength, lightweight, good processing performance, long service life, no odor, wear resistance, non-magnetic, high coating quality and various excellent characteristics. For example, in the aerospace industry, Titanium Alloy discs can be used as engine components, high-temperature components, and blade components. In the field of artificial joint implants, joint scaffolds made of Titanium Alloy discs can have an elastic modulus similar to that of human bone, helping to eliminate stress barrier effects that can cause implant failure and extend the service life of implanted devices.
