Tissue polypeptide-specific antigen is a tumor marker commonly used in clinic. Tissue polypeptide-specific antigen is helpful for auxiliary diagnosis of advanced metastatic breast cancer in clinic. Tissue polypeptide-specific antigen is used in the diagnosis of advanced metastatic breast cancer. The sensitivity is higher than that of carbohydrate antigen 15-3, so the combined detection of tissue polypeptide-specific antigen and carbohydrate antigen 15-3 can further improve the sensitivity and specificity of breast cancer patients.
TPS for short, is one of the tumor markers. If the serum value is abnormally increased, it can be seen in malignant tumors such as lung cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and ovarian cancer.
If the tissue polypeptide-specific antigen TPS is increased, there are also some non-tumor diseases, such as acute hepatitis, pancreatitis, pneumonia and other non-tumor diseases. If there are some other diseases related to tissue polypeptide antigens such as the respiratory tract and biliary tract, there will also be some elevations.
