FRP(fiberglass reinforced plastic) roofing sheets usually use a protecting facility in construction site, steel structured workshop and warehouse, canopy, packing sheds, corridors, studio light awning and greehouse ect as the excellent light transmittance.
The upper film should play a good role in anti ultraviolet and anti-static properties. UV resistance is to protect the polyester of FRP roof sheet from yellowing and aging, and premature loss of light characteristics. Anti static electricity is to ensure that surface dust is easily washed away by rainwater or blown away by wind, maintaining a clean and beautiful surface. 1) Good wear resistance
Place water containing a large amount of mud and sand into the tube for a comparative test of rotational wear. The wear depth of the inner wall of the test tube is as follows: 0.53mm for steel pipes coated with tar and enamel, 0.2mm for steel pipes coated with epoxy resin and tar, and 0.21mm for steel pipes treated with surface hardening. Therefore, FRP transparent tiles have good wear resistance.
2) Corrosion resistance
FRP transparent tiles can resist the erosion of acids, alkalis, salts, seawater, untreated sewage, corrosive soil or groundwater, and many chemical fluids. FRP transparent tiles are non-toxic, non rusting, odorless, non secondary pollution to water quality, and non corrosive. Therefore, anti-corrosion roof walls are widely used.
3) Low maintenance costs
Due to the aforementioned corrosion resistance, wear resistance, frost resistance, and pollution resistance of FRP transparent tiles, the project does not require measures such as rust prevention, pollution prevention, insulation, and insulation, as well as major repairs. 5) Lightweight, high strength, convenient transportation and installation.

However, the circumferential tensile strength of fiberglass tiles is 180-300MPa, and the axial tensile strength is 60-150MPa, which is similar to alloy steel. Therefore, its specific strength (strength/specific gravity) is 2-3 times that of alloy steel, which can be designed to meet various requirements of internal and external pressure according to different user requirements, and is a lightweight material.

The surface of FRP transparent tiles is very smooth, with low roughness and frictional resistance. The roughness coefficient is 0.0084. Therefore, FRP transparent tiles can significantly reduce fluid pressure loss along the road and improve rainwater drainage capacity.
7) Heat and frost resistance
It still has good toughness and extremely high strength at -30 ℃, and can be used for a long time within the range of －50 ℃ —80 ℃. Specially formulated resins can also work above 110 ℃.
