The unique design of the patented mechanical connector body combines a factory-installed fibre optic splice with a pre-polished ceramic insert. Using this field-assembled optical connector increases the flexibility of optical cabling design and reduces the time required for fibre termination. Fast connector is a connector designed to simplify fiber optic connections without the use of a fusion splicer. Only common fiber preparation tools, such as cable stripping tools and fiber cutters, are required. A matching fiber fixed-length stripping device is also included in the order. This means users can prepare the fiber quickly and accurately to ensure successful connector installation and performance.
