ACSR MINK 63-AL1/11-ST1A Overhead aluminum conductor seel reinforced
ACSR are made of aluminum 1350-H19 wires concentrically stranded over a Class A Zinc coated steel wire core.
Reference standard
BS EN 50182:2001 Conductors for overhead lines —Round wire concentric lay stranded conductors;
EN 50189 Conductors for overhead lines — Zinc coated steel wires;
EN 60889 Hard-drawn aluminium wire for overhead line conductors.
Features and Benefits:
ACSR conductors combine the light weight and good conductivity of aluminum with the high tensile strength and ruggedness of steel. This can provide higher tensions, less sag, and longer span lengths than obtainable with most other types of overhead conductors.
The steel core, which are added as mechanical reinforcements, are protected from corrosion by galvanizing . The standard Class A zinc coating is usually adequate for ordinary environments.
