B-2 alloy is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy commonly used in extreme reduction conditions. Compared to the previous alloy B (UNS N10001), alloy B-2 significantly reduces the content of carbon, silicon and iron. Compared with B alloy, B-2 alloy is less prone to corrosion in the welding zone in the welding state.
