Product Composition

• Liquid Material: Usually, the main components are polymer emulsions such as acrylate and ethylene-vinyl acetate. Plasticizers, stabilizers, defoamers and other additives are also added to endow the coating with good film-forming properties, flexibility and adhesion.
• Powder Material: The main component is cement, generally ordinary Portland cement or special cement. It also contains fillers such as quartz sand and heavy calcium carbonate powder, as well as active chemical substances, etc. These can chemically react with the liquid material to form a stable waterproof coating.

Working Principle

• When constructing with JS waterproof coating, the liquid material and the powder material are mixed and stirred evenly in a certain proportion and then applied to the base surface. With the evaporation of water and the hydration reaction of cement, the polymer emulsion particles gradually coalesce into a continuous polymer film. At the same time, crystals such as ettringite generated by the hydration of cement fill the pores of the polymer film. The two are interwoven with each other to form a waterproof coating with a network structure, thus playing the roles of waterproofing and impermeability.

• Good Environmental Performance: Using water as the dispersion medium, it is non-toxic, odorless, green and environmentally friendly, meeting the requirements of modern buildings for environmentally friendly materials, and having little impact on the environment and human health during the construction process.
• Convenient Construction: It can be applied by various construction methods such as brushing, spraying and scraping. The operation is simple and the construction efficiency is high. Moreover, it can be constructed on a damp base surface without standing water, and the requirements for the base layer conditions are relatively low.
• Breathability: The coating has certain breathability, which can allow the moisture in the base layer to evaporate, avoiding problems such as bulging and peeling of the coating caused by the accumulation of water vapor, while also preventing the intrusion of external moisture.

Scope of Application

• Roof Waterproofing: Whether it is a flat roof or a pitched roof, JS waterproof coating can form an effective waterproof barrier to prevent rainwater from penetrating.
• Waterproofing in Kitchens and Bathrooms: In areas such as kitchens and bathrooms that are frequently in contact with water, JS waterproof coating can well adapt to the complex construction environment with many pipes, and many internal and external corners, preventing leakage.
• Wall Waterproofing: It can be used for the waterproofing and moisture-proofing treatment of internal and external walls. Especially for walls of basements and external walls that are prone to moisture, it can effectively prevent moisture from penetrating and protect the walls.
• Waterproofing of Pools: For swimming pools, fire pools, landscape pools, etc., JS waterproof coating can form a waterproof coating on the inner wall of the pool to ensure the waterproof performance of the pool. Construction Key Points

• Base Layer Treatment: The surface of the base layer should be flat, solid and clean, free of impurities such as oil stains, dust and loose layers. For parts with cracks and holes, they should be repaired to make the base layer meet the construction requirements.
• Ingredient Mixing: Strictly according to the requirements of the product instruction manual, mix the liquid material and the powder material in the specified proportion. Use mechanical or manual stirring methods to stir until it is uniform and free of agglomerates.
• Construction Method: Generally, it is applied in multiple coats. Each coat should be applied evenly, and the thickness should not be too thick. Wait until the previous coat dries and forms a film before applying the next coat. The brushing directions should be perpendicular to each other to ensure the uniformity and integrity of the coating.
• Joint Treatment: For joint parts such as internal and external corners, pipe roots, and floor drains, reinforcement treatment should be carried out first. Additional layers or sealants can be used for sealing, and then large-area brushing construction can be carried out.
• Curing: After the construction is completed, cure the coating. Avoid direct sunlight, wind and rain, etc. During the drying and curing period, prohibit people from walking on it or carrying out other operations to ensure that the coating achieves the best waterproof performance.
