Jaw crusher commonly known as jaw broken, also known as tiger mouth. The crusher is composed of two jaw plates of moving jaw and static jaw, which simulates the movement of two jaws of animals to complete material crushing operation. It is widely used in mining, building materials, highway, railway, water conservancy and chemical industry, etc. The maximum compressive strength of crushed material is 320MPa.

The working part of jaw crusher is two jaw plates, one is fixed jaw plate (fixed jaw), which is vertically (or slightly outward inclined) fixed on the front wall of the machine body, and the other is the movable jaw plate (moving jaw), which is inclined in position and forms a crushing cavity (working chamber) with the fixed jaw plate. The movable jaw plate makes periodic reciprocating motion against the fixed jaw plate, sometimes separating and sometimes approaching. When separated, the material enters the crushing chamber, and the finished product is discharged from the bottom; when it is close, the material between the two jaw plates is crushed by extrusion, bending and splitting.

Working pricile:

When the jaw crusher works, the movable jaw plate makes periodic reciprocating motion to the fixed jaw plate, sometimes approaching and sometimes leaving. When approaching, the material is crushed by extrusion, splitting and impact between the two jaw plates; when leaving, the crushed material is discharged from the discharge port by gravity.

In the process of breaking huge stones into small ones, the first crusher is usually the "main" crusher. The longest and most robust crusher is jaw crusher. When feeding the jaw crusher, the material is poured into the crushing chamber with jaw teeth from the top entrance. The jaw teeth push the material to the chamber wall with great force and break it into smaller stones. Supporting jaw movement is an eccentric shaft which runs through the fuselage frame. Eccentric motion is usually produced by flywheels attached to both ends of the shaft. Spherical roller bearings are often used in flywheel and eccentric support bearings.The bearing must bear huge impact load, abrasive sewage and high temperature.
