The fl301 electromagnetic flowmeter can be used to measure the volume flow of conductive fluids in closed pipelines. It is widely used in flow measurement and control in the fields of chemical petroleum industry, metallurgical industry, water and wastewater, agriculture and irrigation, paper making, food and beverage industry, pharmaceutical industry and so on.
When the conductive fluid flows through the measuring tube of the sensor, a voltage signal proportional to the average flow velocity of the fluid is induced on the electrodes. The signal is amplified and processed by the transmitter to realize various display functions.

Installation Sketch
The sensor must not be installed at the inlet of the pump, but at the outlet of the pump.
There must be a straight pipe section with a lengthof at least 10*D (D is the inner diameter of theflowmeter) in front of the flowmeter, and a straight pipe section with a length of 5*D at the rear.
