Continuous free-oxygen copper rod up-casting production line produces large-length bright free-oxygen copper rod, tubes and pipes, flat billet and other profiles with higher conductivity and lower oxygen content, etc. Compared with the traditional process, the features as follows: low investment, high efficiency, low production cost, simple production process, high quality, simple adjustment and no pollution. The Production Line is composed of power frequency induction furnace, feeding system, continuous up-casting machine, limiting device, coiling take-up machine, water cooling system, temperature measurement system, electric control system and so on. The design of all electrical control system is advanced and adopts programmable logic controller (PLC) + human machine interface (touch screen). The electrical control system controls the whole line linkage and monitors the running status.

Continuous casting machine
The copper rod continuous casting machine is the main part of the production line. It consists of drawing mechanism, following mechanism of liquid level and freezer. The drawing mechanism is made up of A.C. servo motor, two groups of drawing rollers and so on..It can produce 0-1000 times interval rotation per minute and draw up the copper rod continuous by the drawing rollers. One of the drawing mechanisms can drive 5 drawing rollers and draw up 5 copper rods.
The following mechanism of liquid level guarantee that the deep of the freezer inserting into the copper liquid is relative stable.The freezer can cool the copper liquid into copper rod by heat exchange. Every freezer can be changed and controlled alone.
