Description of stainless steel Dutch woven wire mesh
Plain Dutch Weave Wire Mesh or Wire Filters are woven in the same way as plain weave mesh. The exception to ordinary Dutch woven wire mesh is that the warp is heavier than the weft. The Dutch woven wire mesh is produced by using a coarse mesh (mesh, woven wire mesh, wire mesh basket) in the warp yarn and a fine mesh having a relatively small wire in the filler. The shape and location of the opening contributes to particle retention and increases filter cake formation.
Feature of the Dutch mesh
In addition to the so-called open-line weave with square or rectangular openings, it can be woven into a 20 micron aperture fineness, with many combinations of filter weaves, remaining in the micron range.
Compared to fiber mats made of paper, synthetic or metal yarns, woven wire cloth specifications are precise geometries with uniform porosity.
A Dutch braided filter made of wire (stainless steel, brass and alloy) is used to separate solids and liquids for filtration, such as cleaning fuel or hydraulic fluids, or for water treatment.
