| Product introduction
Doppler wind lidar is a non-contact telemetry lidar system based on the principle of coherent Doppler velocity measurement. Its working principle is shown in Figure 1. The pulse signal light generated by the fiber laser is transmitted to the air to be measured through an optical antenna (telescope and scanner), and interacts with the aerosol particles therein to generate a backscattered signal containing their velocity information. According to the Doppler principle, the Doppler frequency shift fd of the echo signal is proportional to the velocity of the aerosol particles (i.e., wind speed). Therefore, the backscattered signal received by the optical antenna can be processed to obtain the wind speed information of the target area to be measured by beating the local oscillator light generated by the internal fiber laser in the coherent detection module and digital demodulation.
