Sodium Lignonsulphonate:
Sodium lignosulfonate is a natural polymer, wood pulp and sulfur dichloride aqueous solution and sulfite reaction product, is a by-product of the production of pulp, generally 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzene polymer. Has a strong dispersion, due to the different molecular weight and functional groups with different degrees of dispersion, is a surface active substance, can be adsorbed on the surface of various solid particles, metal ion exchange can be carried out, but also because of the existence of various active groups on its organizational structure, so it can produce condensation or hydrogen bonding with other compounds.
Because of its special structure, sodium lignosulfonate has surface physical and chemical properties such as dispersion, emulsification, solublization, adsorption, etc. Its modified products have been used as mineral nutrient surfactants, and the production process has been mature.

Application principle of sodium lignosulfonate:
The number of carbon chains varies greatly according to the material of lignin extraction. Some are suitable for fertilizer production, and some are suitable for pesticide additives. Contains a variety of active functions, dispersibility, chelation and metal elements easily combined to form a chelate state, improve the physical and chemical properties of metal nutrients, save costs, improve efficiency. The slow-release properties of lignin can maintain the effectiveness of chemical fertilizer and release it slowly, so it is a good slow-release material for organic compound fertilizer. Lignin is a kind of polycyclic polymer organic matter containing many negative electric groups, which has a strong affinity for high price metal ions in soil.
Sodium lignosulfonate can also be used as a pesticide processing. Lignin has a large specific surface area and contains a variety of active groups, which can be used as a pesticide sustained-release agent.
There are structural differences between lignin in plants and lignin after separation. The newly generated cell wall of plant cell division is thin and rich in acidic polysaccharides such as pectin, which gradually generates cellulose and hemicellulose, and the cells differentiate into various unique xylem cells (wood fibers, tracheids, ducts, etc.). When the secondary wall S1 layer is formed, lignin begins to form from the corner part of the primary wall. This phenomenon is commonly called lignification. Lignification develops to the intercellular layer, primary wall and secondary wall as plant tissues mature. Lignin is gradually deposited in and between cell walls, binding cells to cells. During the lignification of plant cell walls, lignin penetrates into the cell wall, increasing the hardness of the cell wall and promoting the formation of mechanical tissues. The mechanical strength and load-bearing capacity of plant cells and tissues were enhanced. Lignin makes the cell wall hydrophobic and makes the plant cells not permeable to water, which provides a reliable guarantee for the long-distance transport of water, minerals and organic matter in the plant. The infiltration of lignin in the cell wall also objectively forms a physical barrier, which effectively prevents the invasion of various plant pathogens. Preventing xylem conduction molecules from penetrating water out, while enabling land plants to survive in relatively arid environments, enhances plant resistance to disease. Lignin acts as a binder for cellulose, hemicellulose and inorganic salts (mainly silicates) in plants.
