Heavy Duty Welding Positioner Turntable With SAW Welding Head

 

 

Brief introduction:

  • Welding column for auto pipe welding center usually adopts SAW welding machine.
  • Welding column is platform integrating welding machine, electric system & control system to manipulate welding machine.

 

 

Detail description of welding column:

  1. Welding column is used to locate a weld head to a desired position for welding in a stable and secure manner.
     
  2. Once in position, the part is moved during welding to produce high quality welds.
     
  3. A welding column can be used on a wide variety of parts and part shapes.
     
  4. Welding is performed using GTAW, PAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW or YAG Laser.
     
  5. In some GMAW, SAW and FCAW welding, the standard boom can be used as a linear welding axis, as these weld processes may not required precise welding motion.
     
  6. Welding columns are a versatile and rugged solution to obtain up to 8m of lift and reach to duplicate the function of a highly skilled welder.
     
  7. Manual or powered mobile sub-based cars can be included for varying length weldments and procedures.

  2. The welding column is initially designed to save labor costs especially at lager workpieces and when a welding column is been used in combinati on with a positi oner or rotator.
     
  3. Designed and robustly build to withstand rugged work environments.
     
  4. Smooth 360 degree lockable rotation.
     
  5. All vertical and horizontal guidings are precisely machined for smooth movement.
     
  6. Solid state inverter for variable speed of horizontal travel and travel carriage.
     
  7. Worm gearbox for vertical travel via AC motor, complete with brake for added safety.
     
  8. High tensile roller chain used for vertical travel with the addition of a counter balance system with the column that provides smooth, effortless travel.
     
  9. Anti-fall device and limit switches for all motions.
