The filter basket/filter cartridge is made of 100% 304 stainless steel. The size of the stainless steel screen is 300 or 400 microns. Based on the actual experience of the brewer, this seems to be an excellent place to contain hops.
For pelleted hops, whole leaf hops are preferably 300 microns, and most preferably 400 microns. 400 microns can also be used for granular hops, but 300 microns tends to hold dust better. These stainless steel filters are perfect for holding hops when brewing beer.
Hop filters, beer wort cups, wort scoops, hop baskets or just ordinary beer brewing filters are all placed in the brewing kettle and maintain the hop content during the brewing process. They are great for preventing hops from accumulating at the bottom of the kettle and also help prevent blockages in the plate cooler. This dry funnel filter is made of stainless steel and is lightweight and durable. It has the characteristics of heat/rust/pressure resistance. The stainless steel hop filter does not absorb any hop oil in beer. This kind of dry hopper is most suitable for filtering hops/bean flower to reduce hops. The hop residue is boiled.
This can make the beer/beverage taste better. This dry funnel is an excellent addition to home brewing equipment, better than mesh bags. You can hang it on the side of the brewing kettle while boiling. Used for brewing beer and tea: The dry hopper filter is not only suitable for beer brewing, but also for making compost tea, or boiling.
