Lehler Wedge Wire Filter Elements is used for automatic self-cleaning filters.
The filter element slot opening is a long slit type, which is increase the opening area and flow rate.

Wedge wire is the filter media which are made from shaped wire. The profile / surface wires are accurately aligned and then welded to the support rods mostly by automatic resistance welding.
