Product Description

Wear-resistant ceramics are used in fan impeller, They are mainly used to paste alumina (Al2O3) ceramic sheets at the outlet of the fan impeller, the connection between the blades, and the rear disc to improve the wear resistance of the fan impeller.

 

This technology combines modern engineering materials and advanced three-dimensional flow theory to design and manufacture. By forming a surface layer with excellent wear resistance on the main working surface of the fan equipment, the purpose of extending the service life of the fan and improving the efficiency of the fan is achieved.

 

This specially treated ceramic layer can not only effectively resist the erosion and wear of particles, but also maintain its structural integrity and performance stability in harsh working environments. Therefore, fan impeller lining ceramic technology is widely used in industrial fields that need to handle hard particulate matter, such as mining, cement, power, and chemical industries, to ensure the efficient and stable operation of fan equipment and significantly reduce the frequency and cost of downtime maintenance caused by wear.

Application and Effect

How to solve the problem of ceramic shedding under high temperatures?

The fan impeller runs at a high temperature of 200℃ for a long time. Most anti-wear manufacturers use traditional epoxy resin organic adhesive. This type of adhesive is mainly organic, not resistant to high temperatures, and easy to age. It cannot meet the requirements of long-term operation. Even if dovetail slot clamping or spot welding clamping is used, once it runs under ultra-high temperatures for a long time, the adhesive is easy to age and becomes brittle and crushed.
 
Our company uses adhesive pasting and dovetail slot double fixation and uses high-temperature resistant inorganic adhesives. It has excellent adhesion, processability, and thixotropy for both steel and ceramics; it can be cured at room temperature; it has quite high strength and toughness; it has high heat resistance and aging resistance. This method is mature and reliable. At the operating temperature of -50℃~500℃, the liner will not age or fall off during long-term operation.

 

How to solve the impact of sudden heating and cooling on ceramics during startup or shutdown?

When the unit is started or shut down, it will encounter sudden heating and cooling. The thermal expansion coefficients of ceramics and steel are inconsistent, and the organic adhesive is brittle, which can easily cause the entire ceramic to peel off.

 

In response to this problem, our company has specially improved the inorganic adhesive to make its thermal expansion coefficient between steel and ceramics (9×10-6m/m.K). At the same time, the microfiber structure of the adhesive can well adjust the extrusion of ceramics caused by the inconsistent thermal expansion of ceramics and steel, and to a large extent ensure that the ceramics will not fall off in long-term operation in various harsh environments.

 

How to solve the ceramic gap problem?

We use mature technology to make the ceramic gap no larger than 1mm. At the same time, to avoid forming a gap along the wind direction, we use the offset pasting method to install wear-resistant ceramics perpendicular to the wind direction. This can avoid the erosion of the ceramic gap along the wind direction and achieve a very small gap connection.
