Music Fountain perfectly combine the water spray with the music, which could fully express the music spirit by phantasmagoric water features and colorful lights. In this system, the computer firstly identifies audio frequency and the MIDI signal, and then converts into instructions and output to control system to command the water performance and lights. It looks like the water is dancing with the rhythm and beat of the music. So it is also called as Dancing Fountain.
There are 2 types mode of control in the Musical Fountains: PLC and multimedia. In the later mode, client could edit the water feature performance according to his understanding to the music with the friendly-operation software Interface to make the water dance with the music melody.
Music fountain is the use of broadcast or live performance of music signal control fountain and fountain lights. According to a special musical fountain sprinkler control system to make changes and shape changes in lighting with the music, rhythm, melody and change ups and downs, absolutely wonderful, will not only real-time control, but also for editorial control.
Musical fountain is a type of animated fountain for entertainment purposes that creates an aesthetic design and sometimes a three-dimensional image. This is done by using the effects of sound waves and light or laser against water particles, in which the water streams, activated in strategically-timed durations, refract and reflect the light, and in doing so, a three-dimensional image is created. Many of the more well-known ones are large scale, and use hundreds of water jets and laser emitters, the cost of which runs up into the millions of dollars, although smaller household forms exist where the budget ranges to around a thousand dollars. Compurterised fountains, also generally called musical fountains, appear to respond to music but have been programmed beforehand. The earliest of these were played manually by a live operator, who usually controlled pumps or valves and sometimes lights by way of switches on a control panel. Music was almost always live. Later, choreography could be prerecorded on a punched paper card which was scanned by a computer; and even later, it could be recorded on magnetic tape or, in the most modern shows, on a CD along with the music. Even so, the choreography must still be painstakingly programmed by hand, some types of shows being played live from a control console and connected to a computer that records the operator's actions for later automatic playback. Himalay offers software and hardware that cause pumps to turn on and off and lights to change in response to the bass and treble of music fed through the system, causing the fountain to respond automatically without a need for manual choreography.
