OA9 Series Rotary Drum Screen System for Wastewater Treatment
Rotary Drum Screen OA9 Micro Strainer is one of the complete equipment products for water supply and drainage pretreatment. For small and medium flow sewage filtration.
The Rotary Drum Screen serves as a mechanical screen wastewater component for primary solids removal in wastewater treatment screens, utilizing a rotating cylindrical mesh to filter particles ≥0.5mm. Its modular design supports integration with automatic bar screen wastewater treatment systems, enhancing debris interception in municipal sewage and industrial effluent. Applications span garbage sorting rotary drum screen setups for solid waste separation, as well as textile and paper industries, where it handles fibrous residues using corrosion-resistant stainless steel (SS304/316) construction.
The OA9 series rotary drum screen is installed at a 35° inclined angle to optimize solid-liquid separation in wastewater flows. Sewage enters the drum filter screen through the end-face opening of the screening chamber, where rotary fine screen mechanisms intercept scum, sediments, and suspended solids. The captured waste is then lifted via a closed screw elevator, undergoing simultaneous mechanical dewatering and compaction before discharge.
