Scope of application of bio-rope
(1) Used as a biofilm carrier in contact oxidation method;
(2) Used as a microbial carrier in water bodies such as rivers and lakes to improve the microenvironment for microbial attachment, survival and reproduction, increase the complexity of aquatic ecological structure and the level of food chain, and improve the microecological purification capacity of water bodies.
How it works :
When Bio-Cord is manufactured, it leaves the factory with a slightly positive charge. Placed in water, it attracts microbes, which by nature have a slightly negative charge. The structure of the Bio-Cord also attracts the microbes. Because of this, Bio-Cord is the choice media for microorganisms to live and grow on. The microbes adhere to the threads and perform biodegradation. This is done in a three-step process including an anaerobic step for optimum solids removal (instantaneous breakdown).
The amount of film hanging can reach 15-20g/L, which is 5-6 times higher than traditional fillers and has a higher organic load.
Compared with the traditional Activated sludge, the sludge reduction is more than 40%.
Synchronous nitrification and denitrification have good effects, strong denitrification ability, and a nitrogen removal rate of 80-90%.
