How Gravity Belt Thickening Works:Slurry Feed: The industrial waste slurry is fed into the Gravity Belt Thickener through an inlet. The slurry typically contains a mixture of solids and liquids, with the solids concentration ranging from low to moderate levels.
Filtration Belt: The slurry is spread evenly across a moving filtration belt that runs between two parallel rotating drums. The filtration belt is a porous fabric or mesh that allows the liquid component of the slurry to pass through while retaining the solid particles.

Application:Volume Reduction: The primary purpose of belt filter-type thickeners is to reduce the volume of sewage sludge.
