The function of the motor protector is to provide comprehensive protection and control of the motor. Overcurrent, undercurrent, phase failure, stall, short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, leakage current, three-phase unbalance, overheating, grounding, bearing wear, etc. occur in the motor. When the stator and rotor are eccentric, the aging of the winding can be alarmed or protected.
Electronic motor protectors have been developed from transistors to integrated circuits. Microprocessor chips have been developed into thick-mode circuits and are generally divided into phase-failure protection, comprehensive protection (multi-function protection), temperature protection, and intelligent protection. Such protectors have the advantages of energy saving, sensitive operation, high precision, shock and vibration resistance, good repeatability, complete protection functions, and low power consumption.
1. The motor protector (motor protector) is based on the principle of detecting the change of the line current (including taking, positive sequence, negative sequence, zero sequence and overcurrent), and can detect phase failure or overload signal. In addition to the phase-failure protection function, it also has an overload and stall protection function.
2. Intelligent protection: The motor protection device integrates protection, telemetry, communication, and remote control to protect the motor from phase failure, overload, short circuit, undervoltage, overvoltage, and leakage, and it also has current and voltage display. Control, software self-diagnosis, call self-recovery, self-start sequence, fault memory, self-trim and remote alarm, flashing alarm before and after current and voltage faults during fault display, RS485 communication interface configuration, and computer networking.
