Insulating gloves, also called high-voltage insulating gloves, are five-finger gloves made of natural rubber and made of insulating rubber or latex by pressing, molding, vulcanizing or dipping. They are mainly used in electrical work. Insulated gloves are commonly used safety tools and important insulation protective equipment in power operation, maintenance and overhaul tests.
With the development of the power industry and the promotion of live working technology, more stringent requirements are put forward for the safety performance of insulated gloves. Based on the above situation, our company has developed an online visual inspection system for insulated gloves. This breaks through the problem that cannot be fundamentally solved by multi-channel manual inspection, prevents the subjective problem of manual inspection of gloves, and realizes the fully automated online inspection and removal of gloves.
This system uses 4 high-definition industrial cameras to take pictures of the front and back of the gloves on the two channels of the production line and display them in real time. The system uses deep learning AI technology to automatically learn the characteristics of the glove surface defects, so as to achieve rapid judgment, real-time detection, Real-time removal and other functions. The system has the characteristics of high detection accuracy, missed detection and low false detection rate. The software comes with statistics and defect picture storage functions, real-time monitoring of the operation of the production line, and timely detection of production line problems.
Test content:
(1) Marking; for example, the mark is ambiguous, and the mark is missing.
(2) The color marking of insulating gloves is not standardized. (The color requirements of insulated gloves for live working in different countries are different)
(3) The name of insulating gloves is not standardized; for example, the applicable voltage levels are different.
(4) Mistake conventional insulating gloves for composite gloves. Abrasion or scratches on the fingers and palms, and metal stains, indicate that the glove is mistaken for a composite glove.
(5) The external or internal adhesion of insulated gloves is serious.
(6) The rubber at the label sticking place is aging or the color becomes lighter. This should be caused by the chemical reaction between the rubber and the self-adhesive.

Testing environment:
It should be in a dry and ventilated workshop with a room temperature of -15°C to +30°C and a relative humidity of 50% to 80%, away from heat sources, and more than 20 cm away from the ground and walls. Avoid being affected by corrosive substances such as acid, alkali, oil, etc., do not place it in the open, avoid direct sunlight, and do not touch the ground.
