RAW MATERIALS

INTRODUCTION
Graphite gaskets are cut or stamped from pure graphite plates or metal (tooth plates, flat plates, nets) reinforced graphite plates, and have many excellent sealing properties, such as: thermal stability, self-lubricating, corrosion resistance, no aging, no brittleness It can be used stably for a long time under harsh working conditions and requires very little maintenance. The lining material can choose different metal sheets. The type can be selected without edge, inner edge, outer edge, inner and outer edge. Graphite cutting gaskets are punched or cut from pure graphite plates. They have good corrosion resistance, high/low temperature resistance, good compression resilience and high strength, and a variety of round complex Geometric gaskets are widely used in pipes, valves, pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, condensers, generators, air compressors, exhaust pipes, refrigerators, etc. Graphite gaskets belong to the gasket series.
CLASSIFICATION
Flexible graphite gaskets are cut from flexible graphite sheets (or with metal reinforcement), and are divided into four types according to application needs:
1. Flexible graphite gasket: cut from flexible graphite sheet, used for pipeline flanges and valve covers. It is recommended that these gaskets be small diameter gaskets, depending on its low mechanical strength.
2. Flexible graphite gasket MI: a carbon steel sheet (0.2 mm thick) with hooks is sandwiched by a flexible graphite sheet, and then cut into a specific size with high mechanical strength.
3. Flexible graphite gasket PM: Flexible graphite sheet is adhered to both sides of 0.2 mm thick (carbon steel) 201, 304, 316 stainless steel sheet, which has high mechanical strength and is easy to transport, because it can also be cut With complex shapes, this gasket is widely used in various industries.
4. Flexible graphite gasket PM-A: Replace the stainless steel sheet in T/#1215 with 316 steel (50 microns).
APPLICATION
Used in various industrial pipe flanges, heat exchangers, valve covers, etc., as well as special-shaped flanges on liquid level gauges and level gauges.
The graphite gasket is made of graphite thread, which is woven and shaped. Graphite gaskets are suitable for sealing the stuffing box of various valves, pumps, reactors and other equipment that work under high temperature, high pressure and strong corrosive media.
