The horizontal screw mixer consists of a U-shaped container, screw stirring blades, and
transmission components. The U-shaped long cylindrical structure ensures that the
materials (powders, semi-liquids) move with low resistance within the cylinder. The positive
and negative rotating screws are installed on the same horizontal shaft, a low-power and
high-efficiency mixing environment. The screw blades are usually made in two or three
layers. The outer layer of the screw pushes the material from sides to the center, while the
inner layer of the screw pushes the material from the center to both sides, which can create
more eddies in the flowing. This speeds up the mixing speed and improves the uniformity of
the mix.
Under the action of the spiral ribbon on the agitator shaft, the inner and outer spiral
ribbons turn over the material in a large, the inner spiral ribbon moves the material to both
sides, the outer spiral ribbon moves the material from both sides to the inside, so that the
material is mixed and forth. In addition, some of the material is pushed by the spiral ribbon
to move axially and radially, thus forming a convective cycle. The material quickly and
evenly mixed in a short period of time.
1. Flexible disassembly: The main shaft of the screw needs to be connected to the flange of
the drive shaft When maintaining or repairing the horizontal screw mixer, or when changing
the type of stirring shaft, the entire disassembly is very quick. Because the design of the dis
is very convenient, the U-shaped cylinder and the two end plates can be completely welded,
avoiding the accumulation of materials due to the large size of the cylinder and existence of
gaps when connected to the flange. This also better reduces the possibility of residues.
2. Convenient cylinder cover design: The overall design of the cylinder is more flexible,
meeting the requirements of half-open, fully open, and completely closed. The fully open
design is more suitable for occasions with higher cleanliness requirements. cylinder cover
door is supported by gas springs, providing higher safety.

driving method uses a-connected gear reducer. Although this design has a large torque, it has
good reliability and very low noise. For larger mixers, a belt transmission design is added In
case of accidents, the transmission components can be effectively protected.
