The vertical screw conveyor, also known as the vertical screw conveyor, can lift various
bulk materials in the vertical direction. It uses a motor to the screw to rotate through a
reducer, and conveys the material to the predetermined position through rotation. The
vertical screw conveyor is a widely used continuous conveying equipment in such as
metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, grain, and mechanical processing.
Compared with other conveying equipment, the vertical screw conveyor has the
advantages of small cross-sectional dimensions, good sealing performance, stable and
reliable operation, and convenient maintenance.
The vertical screw conveyor uses the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed
rotating screw in the vertical cylindrical shell, together with the friction between
material and the shell, to overcome the friction between the material and the screw
surface, as well as the component of the material's own weight sliding down along the,
to lift the material upward. When the screw shaft rotates, due to the gravity of the
material and the friction between it and the wall of the trough, material can only move
forward along the bottom of the trough under the push of the blades, just like a
non-rotating nut moving along a rotating screw. movement of the material at the
intermediate bearing is dependent on the push of the material moving forward behind it.
Therefore, the movement of the material in the conveyor is a sliding motion.
