1 . Descriptions:
The step feeder is capable of conveying both spherical and cylindrical parts. Compared to vibratory bowl feeders, the step feeder operates with less noise and gently handles parts. The main method of conveying material is through a step shaped device, which lifts and lowers the part onto a track in a cyclical motion. Regular material can be conveyed directly to a specified location on the track, while more complex products are bounced off the orientation track and returned to the incorrectly oriented product for the next orientation.
