Suitable for demanding applications with intense impacts and heavy loads, like mining, major construction projects, and waste management, the PPR track chain assembly is a unique design that features a mechanical interlock between the link and the pin. This design is intended to optimize the lifespan of the undercarriage components and reduce operational expenses.
The Positive Pin Retention Track system boasts a proprietary design that minimizes movement at the link ends, enhances sealing capabilities, and extends the lifespan of the track. It incorporates specially crafted links and pins that facilitate the incorporation of a metal retainer ring. This ring is inserted into the recess between the pin and link, securing the joint to a factory-set end-play specification. This configuration is ideal for applications in mining, heavy construction, demolition, and waste management, where high stress, impact, and twisting of the track chain can lead to end play. As a standard feature on D11T*, D10T, D9T, and as an optional feature on D8T elevated sprocket tractors, the PPR track link contributes to the prolongation of the undercarriage's service life and the reduction of operational expenses.
