Ultrasonic welding is a kind of solid-phase welding method. The connection between the weldments is realized by the high-frequency elastic vibration of the acoustic system and the clamping action of the static pressure between the workpieces. Among them, the ultrasonic generator is a frequency conversion device, which changes the power frequency current into the oscillating current of the ultrasonic frequency, and the converter relies on the "piezoelectric effect" to convert the ultrasonic frequency electric energy fed by the generator into mechanical vibration energy.

The ultrasonic transducer transforms the ultrasonic frequency high-power oscillation signal into the corresponding frequency mechanical energy, which is applied to the interface of the workpiece to be welded so that the workpiece meets the instantaneous heat generation, then the particles in the workpiece are activated and melted into each other to finish the welding.
