Ultrasonic tooling also called ultrasonic horns, or ultrasonic mold, is used for ultrasonic welding, with the ultrasonic generator, ultrasonic transducer, and ultrasonic flange called an ultrasonic set, which is used to the ultrasonic welding machines for non-woven fabric welding and plastic welding, and so on. Tool fabrication materials include aluminum, titanium, hardened steel, stainless steel, and cast polyurethanes.
Daily mold with titanium alloy, aluminum alloy, and steel products as raw materials, now most of the molds use the high quality imported 7075 aluminum alloy with good mechanical strength, hardness, and thermal conductivity and the price is reasonable, it is the first selection of ultrasonic plastic welding machine mould material, secondly is titanium alloy mould, the performance is good, but the price is relatively expensive, thirdly is the steel for a much higher degree of strength and wear calls.
Usually, ultrasonic plastic welding machine mould generally divided into the upper mould and the lower mould. The upper mould links to the transducer, while the lower mould is fixed above the base of the ultrasonic plastic welding machine,the upper mould is used to pass on the ultrasonic energy, therefore the frequency of the mould must be consistent with the frequency of the ultrasonic generator, otherwise, it will have damage to the mould, the lower mould is mainly used to fix the plastic workpiece, it can have the effect of the fixed workpiece. It can be in-house designed and made.
