A boom barrier is a physical security device mainly used for restricting unauthorized persons or vehicles from entering a controlled environment and also for controlling traffic overflow. It consists of an arm, which comes in either a bar or pole form and raises vertically from 3m to 4m in height.

In accordance with customer specifications, the length of the arming meter may be adjusted, but the lefault timing of the barrier is 0.6 sec. Additionally, it also supports a mechanical lock for increased security as well as a signal sensor for drawing extra output power.
