Background
Fan is the general name of gas compression and conveying machinery, which is a special equipment to improve the pressure energy of gas. It is widely used for the purpose of gas conveying, producing high-pressure gas and vacuumizing.
In the sewage treatment plant, the fan is mainly used for the ventilation of sewage treatment structures, pre aeration in the wastewater treatment stage, blast aeration in aerobic biochemical treatment, mixing and stirring. The sewage treatment plant shall select the machine types with features of high-efficiency, energy-saving, easily using and maintaining, safe operation and making low noise. The large sewage treatment plant can select the centrifugal single-stage blower, and the small sewage treatment plant can select the roots blower. Screw blower is a newly developed aeration blower in recent years. Due to its characteristics of high energy saving, making low noise and simple structure, it is becoming the bright spot in the development of fan used in small sewage treatment plant.
Introduction
Screw air blower belongs to displacement blower, it is widely used in sewage treatment, desulfurization and oxidation, pneumatic conveying and other fields. In aeration field, the screw air blower can automatically adjust its pressure according to the change of water depth, while maintain stable flow rate, which is suitable for medium&small air volume needs and harsh environment working conditions. With the characteristics of wide working pressure adjustment range, strong dust resistance, high efficiency and stability, can start-stop frequently and high cost performance, the screw air blower is the most economical blower for the reform of the Roots Blower.
Comparison of Roots Blower and Screw Blower cooling
Due to the internal compression, the efficiency of screw blower is 30% higher than roots blower, and the temperature rise is 20% lower than roots blower. For the screw blower, the air temperature rises by 8 ℃ every 1m the outlet pressure head rises. For the roots blower, the air temperature rises by 10 ℃ every 1m the outlet pressure head rises.
So if the outlet pressure head is 9m high and the temperature is 30 ℃, then the outlet temperature of screw blower is about 102 ℃, while for roots blower the temperature will reach about 130 ℃.
In view of the high temperature of the main engine head, the screw fan adopts the method of external lubricating oil circulation, which greatly improves the service life of bearings and seals. In contrast, The bearing, lubricating oil and seal of roots blower dissipate the heat only through the main engine, with small heat dissipation area and poor effect.
