Product Description
A centrifugal compressor is a vane rotary compressor (ie, a turbo compressor).In a centrifugal compressor, a high-speed rotating impeller imparts a centrifugal force to the gas, and a diffusing action of the gas is applied in the diffuser passage to increase the gas pressure.In the early days, this type of compressor was only suitable for low, medium pressure, and large flow, and was not noticed.
Advantages of Centrifugal Compressors
Centrifugal compressor can obtain such a wide range of applications, mainly because it has below advantages than piston compressor:

Due to the high pressure sealing, the processing of small flow narrow impellers, and the development of key technologies such as multi-oil wedge bearings, the centrifugal compressor has been solved to high pressure and width.
A series of problems in the development of the flow range have greatly expanded the application range of the centrifugal compressor, so that the reciprocating compressor can be replaced in many occasions, and the application range is greatly expanded.
The pressure of industrial high-pressure centrifugal compressors is (150~350)×105Pa, and the pressure of centrifugal compressors for gas injection in offshore oil fields is as high as 700×105Pa.The centrifugal blower used for blast furnace blasting has a flow rate as large as 7000 m3/min, and the power is large at 52,900 KW, and the rotational speed is generally above 10,000 r/min.
Some chemical basic raw materials, such as propylene, ethylene, butadiene, benzene, etc., can be processed into important chemical products such as plastics, fibers and rubber.In the petrochemical plant that produces this basic raw material, centrifugal compressors also play an important role and are one of the key equipment.
