The atomizing nozzle is a device which can spray liquid and suspend it in air evenly. Its working principle is to squeeze the internal liquid into the nozzle through the internal pressure. An iron sheet is placed inside the nozzle. The high-speed liquid is impacted on the sheet. After rebounding, atomized particles of about 15-60 microns in diameter are formed and ejected through the nozzle outlet. Atomizing nozzles are widely used in various aerosol products, such as pesticides, air fresheners, pharmaceutical sprays, etc.
There are two main types of nozzles:
I. Burner Nozzles (Military, Civil)
2. Non-burner nozzles
Applications of ungsten Carbide Nozzle:
1.Carbide nozzles are tools and should be looked after and protected from damage at work site.
2.Boron carbide nozzles are the most commonly used nozzles in the sandblasting / abrasive blast cleaning industry. They are tough and are best suited for use in harsh work site conditions. Tungsten carbide nozzles are economical and work well with most abrasives.
