When the engine is just started or under light load, the temperature of the coolant and the air flow through the radiator is not high, the bimetallic sensor deforms little, the oil inlet valve plate is closed, the oil in the oil storage chamber cannot enter the working chamber, and the clutch is in Separated state. At this time, the driving shaft and the water pump shaft rotate together, and the fan rotates at a low speed as the casing slips on the driving shaft. When the engine speed increases and the load increases, and the coolant temperature in the radiator reaches a certain value, the bimetallic temperature sensor is heated and deformed, driving the valve plate to rotate, opening the oil hole, and silicone oil flows into the working room from the oil storage cavity The active plate uses the viscosity of the silicone oil to drive the casing and the fan to rotate. At this time, the fan clutch is in the engaged state, so that the fan speed increases and the air volume increases. When the engine load decreases and the temperature of the airflow blowing to the sensor is lower than a certain value, the valve plate closes the oil inlet, the oil in the working chamber is thrown back to the oil storage chamber, and the fan clutch returns to the separated state.
