Introduction
The Tricone drill bit is an ideal solution for transitioning from soft to hard rock layers. It is connected to the drill pipe and rotates accordingly, driving the cone to press against the rock. Each cone rotates around its leg axis, while the three cones rotate simultaneously around the center of the drill bit. The tungsten carbide blade on the conical shell causes the formation to peel off under the weight of the drill bit and the impact load of the cone rotation, and the debris will be discharged into the hole through compressed air.
