Several matters needing attention in the correct installation and removal of the triangle belt

Install correctly:

1. Turn off the power, remove the protective cover, and loosen the assembly bolts of the motor. Move the motor to make the belt slack enough so that the V-belt can be removed without prying it off. Never pry the belt off.

2. Remove the old V-belt and check whether there is abnormal wear. Excessive wear proves that there are problems in the design or maintenance of the transmission.

3. Choose a suitable belt for replacement, but before installation, check whether the driving wheel, the driven wheel and the tensioning wheel are on the same plane. Generally speaking, when the center distance of the two pulleys is less than 1 meter, the allowable deviation is 2-3 mm, and when the center distance is greater than 1 meter, the allowable deviation is 3-4 mm. If the deviation is too large, it should be adjusted to meet the requirements before installation and tensioning.

4. If the new V-belt is too tight and difficult to install, first remove a pulley, put on or remove the V-belt, and then install the pulley without hard removal.

5. The V-belt should be kept dry before installation.
