Omnidirectional Wheels Heavy Duty Transport Platform
Heavy Duty Transport Platform uses omnidirectional wheels as driving wheels, which is different from other trackless transfer cars driving wheels. The driving wheel is not at the end of the transfer car but in the middle position. There are two universal casters at each end, and there are guide wheels and guide grooves on the longitudinal centerline of the cart body. The advantage of this motorized transfer car is that the turning radius is smaller and the direction of travel is controllable. Autonomous motorized transfer cars are the perfect device where clients require delicate handling solutions in very narrow spaces.
Heavy transport carts are operating in many shipping lines, stevedores, concrete manufacturers, foundries, steel mills, etc. We have supplied hybrid transfer carts in the world for moving materials inside and outside the plant by electric traction and driving long distances. And also heavy load transport cars are mainly used to solve maneuverability problems in tight spaces. Due to all possible steering programs, on either one or different axles, you can achieve a tight turning radius. The propulsion can be either electric for in-plant load Carts or batteries for long distances.
