Pto Driven Wood Chipper With Direct Drive System For 4 Inches Chipping Capacity
Our BX42S is a well constructed, but powerful and robust wood chipper.
The wood chipper is delivered complete with PTO. In the PTO is on one side of a shear pin installed, which serves for safety as a breaking point in blocking or overload. So you can easily use larger tractors with more than 100 hp. You should have at least a motor power of 30 hp. The PTO speed must be 540 - 1000 RPM / min.
The hopper has a top opening of 51 x 51 cm; at the bottom of the opening has a dimension of 10.2 x 25.4 cm. A maximum diameter of 10 cm are shredded. Softer woods can be shredded with a size of up to 25 cm, if necessary; with such diameters are processed into firewood in the rule and not chopped.
The processing of the BX42S is very solid; the material thickness of the plates used in the bearing portion 10 and be 5 mm, to the hoppers and non-structural parts of 2 mm.
For transport, the hopper can be easily folded up and secured.
The machine is well built, easy to maintain; so you can open with the removal of just one screw the complete flywheel cover and has access to the 4 cutting blades. These cutters have blades on both sides, so they can be easily rotated as needed. The flywheel has a weight of 50 kg and has put on wings, which produce the very strong train by which ultimately the shredded is blown out through the discharge hopper. A strong draughft prevents clogging of the shredder.
The discharge hopper has a height of 152 cm (excl. The raising of the lower arm) and can be rotated 360 degrees. Thus, the shredded leaves easily fill to higher trailer or directly in big bags. The ejection angle can also be changed. The BX42S flings the shredded up to 6 meters! Color as your request.
The shredder is designed for the 3-point hitch and can be used from Kat. I.
