The full name of "TPU" is Thermoplastic polyurethanes, TPU is an alternative to PVC products. TPU is not plastic is resin. The advantage is oil resistance, cold resistance, anti-aging, performance is dozens of times that of PVC.
The English name TPU of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer is a very excellent elastomer material. Compared with PVC material, there are mainly the following differences in terms of appearance:
1, transparent TPU will take a yellow bottom after a long time, PVC generally has two kinds of the blue and yellow bottom.
2, TPU hardness range, from shore A 60 - shore D 85; PVC hardness generally from shore A 30-120;
3, TPU wear resistance, low-temperature resistance, oil resistance, chemical resistance, resiliency are better than PVC;
4, the TPU environmental safety performance is very good, containing no plasticizer and other contraband materials phthalates, but PVC there are the environmental problems ;
5, TPU products smell no smell, and PVC products have a strong pungent odor.
In general, the TPU burns with an aromatic flavour, and the surface feels better; TPU is PVC Replacement of products; TPU does not belong to the plastic resin, the advantage is oil, cold, anti-aging, performance is dozens of times the PVC; TPU product life in more than 10 years, no losing elasticity in -50℃ environment.
