Description of Refrigerator Door Panels:

With the popularity of three doors, multi door and large volume refrigerators, stainless steel and tempered glass are accepted and recognized by more and more people. Although these two kinds of panels are relatively advanced panel technology, many people do not know much about them. Toughened glass is also a popular refrigerator panel material at present. The appearance of this material is more bright, and the glass can be printed with various patterns, which is more popular among consumers. Due to the smooth appearance of the glass panel, its anti pollution performance is better, especially in the kitchen with more oil fume and water vapor, it is more convenient to clean up. Not only that, the glass panel also has the advantages of no deformation, no fading, scratch resistance, etc., which is more environmentally friendly than the plastic material.

Features of UMI on refrigerator door panels:

1) UMI is to make superfine pattern with 2~5 μm by laser micro-engraving. It extends printing technology from two-dimensional surface to the real three-dimensional effect. Due to it creates waved three-dimensional effect on glass surface; it is also called tridimensional colorful glittering glass. Comparing with two-dimensional colorful glass, it has greater artistic advantage.
2) UMI feature: The colorful glittering glass panel made by UMI process is opaque if there is no light on the back side. But if there is light on the back side, the light will transmit through the glass. This is a great advantage of UMI colorful glittering glass. It can get the light transmittance which metallic material does not have.

Features of toughened glass for refrigerator door panel:

1. Security: When the glass is external damage, Debris will become very small obtuse angle grains and difficult to cause harm to humans.
2. High strength: the impact strength tempered glass of the same thickness of ordinary glass 3 to 5 times more than the ordinary glass ,bending strength 3-5 times.
3. Thermal stability: Tempered glass has good thermal stability, can withstand the temperature is more than 3 times that of ordinary glass, can withstand 200 °C temperature changes.

Refrigerator door panels test

1. Wear test, Surface abrasion test - second surface application, no contact except transport = 25 cycles * * failure is the first visible mark of substrate * *, no detectable color or gloss change, no blistering, no loss of hardness.
2. Humidity test: Δ e = 1.00 max No obvious gloss change. No blistering.
Hardness - after 24 hours, maximum 1 pencil hardness loss after full recovery, no visible change.
3. Color fastness/UV resistance, Color fastness (UV) (240 hours, UV); no change in visual color or gloss.
4. Stain resistance (food stain), 24 hours @ 120F, tomato juice, lemon juice, grape juice, cola, coffee, tea, milk; no softening, corrosion or peeling; no perceptible visual color or gloss change on the surface appearance.
5. Stain resistance (electrical cleaner), 24 hours, 80% RH and 80F - 50 / 50 ethanol / water, 10% dawn ultra solution, etc. There is no perceptible change in the visual color or gloss of the surface appearance.
