Description of toughened tempered glass:

Toughened tempered glass is a type of safety glass which is prepared to increase the strength of normal glass. The glass undergoes compression and tension through which, the glass breaks down into pieces. This can cause injuries and damage and thus, the toughened tempered glass is used for making windows, doors, tables and such things used on regular basis. Toughened glass eliminated the possibility of injury and is constructed under strict supervision to ensure durability and strength.

Toughened tempered glass thickness processed can be 3mm 4mm 5mm 6mm.

The glass edge is grinded as customer's requirements is flat polish, pencil polish, miter, bevel, etc

FAQ

Q: What's the cut hole effect?
A: It depends on different thickness and for thick glass; we usually use water jet + CNC.

For thin glass, we use CNC for cut hole to make sure no breakage chips exist from hole edge.

Q: Is irregular shape glass available?
A: No problem because we will use shape cutting machine + CNC to make sure about the quality.

Q: How's the silk print effect?
A: Feihong received lots of praise in silk print quality base on import paints + auto silk print machine + dust free room.
Available in high temperature silk print(The paint melt into glass) and low temperature paint(Pass adhesion test).

Q: What's the edge treatment could meet?
A: We could make direct cut(cut chips, cheapest), fine grinded(CNC) and polish edges base on your need.
The chamfer / radius could be set.

Q: Should glass be tempered and what's the effect?
A: It depends on glass sizes / thickness.
To small size/thickness less than 3.2, we recommend chemical tempered(surface toughen by 6-7H).
To bigger size/thickness 3.2 or above, we recommend full thermal tempered.
Base on thermal tempered, the fragmentation test standard / partical sizes & quantity could be set base on different thickness.
The glass flatness could be asked after tempering.
