Characteristics of lithium ion power battery
1. High voltage
The voltage of lithium-ion power battery is three times that of nickel cadmium battery, nickel hydrogen battery and nearly two times that of lead-acid battery, which is also an important reason for the high specific energy of lithium-ion power battery. Therefore, when forming a power battery pack with the same voltage, the number of series connected lithium-ion power batteries will be much less than that of lead-acid batteries and Ni MH batteries.
2. Light weight
The specific energy is large, up to 150wh / kg, which is twice that of Ni MH batteries and four times that of lead-acid batteries. Therefore, the weight is one-third to one-quarter of that of lead-acid batteries with the same energy. From this point of view, lithium batteries consume less resources. Moreover, due to the large reserves of elements used in lithium manganate batteries, the price may be further increased compared with lead-acid and Ni MH batteries, The cost of lithium battery is further reduced.
3. Long life
The number of cycles can reach 1000 ~ 3000. When the capacity is maintained at 70%, the number of 100% charge discharge cycles of the battery pack can reach more than 200 times, the service life can reach 5 ~ 8 years, and the service life is about two to three times that of the lead-acid battery. With the innovation of technology and the improvement of equipment, the service life of battery will be longer and longer, and the cost performance will be higher and higher.
