Working Principle of Plate Frame Filter Press Machine

1. Preparation stage: Place the filter cloth in the filter chamber of the plate and frame filter press to ensure that the filter cloth is close to the inner surface of the filter plate and the filter frame.
2. Feed: pump the suspended liquid to be filtered into the filtration chamber, and impurities such as suspended matter and particulate matter in the wave body will stay on the surface of the filter cloth, and the purified liquid filtered through the filter cloth will enter the other side of the filtration rate.
3. Filtration: After the feeding stage is completed, the plate and frame filter press will automatically close the feed port, and press the filter cloth through the hydraulic system, so that the filter cloth is more closely connected with the inner surface of the filter plate and filter frame, and further improve the filtration effect. At this time, impurities such as suspended matter and particulate matter will be tightly compressed on the inner surface of the filter cloth to form a filter cake .
4. Unloading cake: When the cake is formed to a certain extent, the plate and frame filter press will automatically enter the unloading stage. Through the control of hydraulic system, the filter cake on the surface of the filter cloth is removed from the plate and frame, and collected into the designated container.
5. Cleaning stage: After the cake unloading is completed, the plate and frame filter press automatically enters the cleaning stage. Through the control of the hydraulic system, the cleaning water is sprayed on the surface of the filter cloth to remove the residual filter cake and impurities and restore the filter capacity of the filter cloth.
6. End stage: After the cleaning is completed, the plate and frame filter press will automatically close the cleaning port and enter the standby state. The whole filtration process has been completed, and the filtration operation can be performed again.
