Product Structure: The Disposable Sterile Ureteral Access Sheath consists of a sheath, dilator, and Luer joint.
Product Features:
1: It provides a continuous working channel for flexible endoscopes and other instruments, reducing surgery time. It reduces the risk of urinary tract injury and facilitates the passage of fragmented stones.
2: The tube's surface is coated with a hydrophilic coating, which reduces resistance when entering the urinary tract. It protects the endoscope and other instruments, making their insertion and removal more convenient.
3: It is equipped with a negative pressure suction port, which effectively suctions the stone fragments out of the body.
4: The core inside the sheath is designed with springs to increase flexibility and resistance to compression and torsion. It ensures smooth transition and reduces the risk of ureteral injury. The device has an ultra-thin lumen with a PTFE-coated inner wall, allowing for smooth insertion and removal.
5: The dilator features a user-friendly tapered tip design, gradually expanding from thin to thick with gentle and flexible increments. The soft tip helps to minimize trauma. The dilator seamlessly and smoothly transitions with the distal end of the sheath, allowing for unimpeded passage through the urinary tract and reducing damage to the urethral mucosa.
6. The device is designed with a Luer joint, allowing it to be used with a syringe for urine extraction or injection of contrast agents.
