Monel 400 alloy is high-intensity single-phase solid solution, which is a kind of corrosion resistant alloy with the largest amount, the widest use and excellent comprehensive performance. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium, and also has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkali solution. It is also resistant to corrosion of neutral solution, water, seawater, atmosphere and organic compounds. An important feature of the alloy is that it generally does not produce stress corrosion cracks and has good cutting performance. This alloy is mainly used for valve stem, pump shaft and impeller, scraper, oil well drilling ring, elastic parts, valve pad, etc
