A light-dependent resistor or Photoresistor or Photocell is made of semiconductor material and has a (variable) resistance that changes with the light intensity that falls upon it. According to this characteristic, the LDR sensor can be produced with different figures and illuminated areas. LDR sensor is widely used in many industries, such as toys, lamps, cameras, etc.
