Product Description:
This ntc temperaturesensor is a BTS temperature sensor for the temperature monitoring of base transceiver station. Base Transceiver Station typically houses the equipment required for wireless communication, including the radio transceivers, power supplies, and other components. To ensure proper functioning and prevent damage, monitoring the temperature inside the cabinet is crucial. A temperature sensor is commonly used to measure the temperature within the BTS cabinet.
The temperature sensor is usually placed inside the cabinet and connected to a monitoring system. There are different types of temperature sensors available for Base Transceiver Station, such as thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), and thermistors. But NTC thermistor has its advantage compare with other temperature sensors such as Sensitivity, Wide Temperature Range, Cost-Effectiveness, Size and Packaging Options, Fast Response Time, and Self-Heating Compensation.
The temperature sensor is connected to a monitoring system, which can be a dedicated device or part of a larger network management system. The monitoring system continuously collects temperature data from the sensor and provides real-time information about the cabinet's temperature.
By monitoring the temperature inside the BTS cabinet, network operators can ensure that the equipment operates within safe temperature ranges.
